so im changing jobs.

as some of you know i left the IT industry about 6 months ago to come work for cycle gear. its been a blast, and i love the industry but its time for me to move on.

i gave my two week notice to cycle gear a week ago. ill be with them for another week, and starting this coming friday you can find me behind the parts counter at Stubbs SW, which i am really looking forward to.

all the folks at CG are cool, and ill miss working with them. if youve been thinking about working for CG go for it, its a great way to get a start in this business. but i had other reasons to make the job switch.

there really isnt much more im going to say about it here, so if you want to ask me any questions just send me a PM.

hopefully ill see some of yall over at stubbs next week. im going to enjoy learning all the OEM stuff so all you folks with gsxr's and rr's come and see me for your parts, ok?

duece!

D'oh. We kind of had an opening, or two, but my boss is brining on a couple of folks within a couple of weeks which will help us nudge out the weak links.
He had looked high and low for people, BUT, too many characters out there who either wanted to make more money than his management postion for doing a laborer job , or they where just plain flat out jokers . Job is kind of rough since it is spent half the time in the freezer and is a night time job. Oh yeah, and not a skilled job so we don't pay $15/hr+ like they where hoping.

Well good luck to you. My sis is raising her child and her hubby is in the marines (at an E-5 rank) and to know how pathetic those folks get paid, she gets to use W.I.C. because of their financial situation (she is not working).
We don't mind hiring women even if we have not had a woman wearhouse person here for a year or so. We are too far away from Texas City anyways. All the way out in NW Houston where Highway 249 and beltway 8 intersect.
