gotta be careful using a cover in high wind as it can act like a sail and take the bike over.

still sucks tho.

I've worried about this a couple times as I've kept my bikes outdoors for the past 4 years but have never had an issue even in heavy storms. A couple times when the wind was supposed to be *severe* the bikes went in the corner of the fence to block the wind and the rest would go in the kitchen and dining room.

I've seen a bike blown over during a wind storm before. It can happen even when not covered.

The bike was upright when you got to it? Someone picked it up before you got there?

Are you saying you think the truck hit you?
Not flaming, just unsure of what your trying to show w/ that pic.

I'd at the very minimum knock on a few doors and ask if they did it or if they knew who did, if nobody fesses up file a police and insurance report, in that order.

unless he there was a hurricane or he was parked on an extreme incline, i don't think that would make a difference.

+10, without a police report the insurance company will just run you in circles till you give up.

I picked up a bike that was tipped over in some apartments before. It looked like the cover turned to a sail and tipped it over.
