My lady has been afraid of riding and because of that I have enjoyed riding by myself a lot better now than when I was younger. , I rode 2 up for like 2 seasons in a row and you never saw the same chick on the bike 2 days in a row. The good ol' days....what I'd give to be 21 again. The only problem was if it was 75 and sunny my phone would blow the up. Anyhow, back to the topic....
The lady has been going out on a limb and has asked me to purchase her a helmet so she can ride with me. Now, I know I'm gonna do some riding alone with her and teach her how to be a good passenger before doing the group thing. Maybe when it cools down a bit will be good time for us. I really don't wanna hear , "It's too hot, I'm all sweaty" (really she doesn't nag, but I can see it happening).

Anyhow, I'll keep my eyes open for the post....sounds like fun.

No, I do not have any interest in getting a different bike. She can ride this one just fine. She is just not into the bike like me, so she would prefer to not be gone the entire day. She would rather go for a cruise somewhere locally and dinner or a movie. Maybe one day I will get a second bike that will accomidate a passenger better, but for now it's the gixxer.

Hopefully we can get a decsent sized group together, this could be a lot of fun.

So, the purpose of this thread is to see if any other riders out there ride with their significant others, or ride by themselves, and would be interested in riding here locally. Possible going to dinner or something? Or know of a bike night in the area?
I know what your talking about i think you live in my area too. i live in the woodlands and i put a small group together every wed. We ride too fast and crazy to have someone on the back. Me and one other guy keep talking about taking a ride with passengers. i take my girl out on it on sundays mostly but the other guy has to work. let me know if you want to ride

Well, no place for a passenger to sit on the Duc and the wife took one look at the RC and said "uh...... NO". But she did ride.........once upon a time.

+1^^ I have the cowl on my bike and I dont have the passenger seat. My wife took a look at the ninja and said no too. I prefer solo riding anyways.
