last month i did that but i couldn't stop in time and the CAGER noticed me at the last secound and moved to the right. I was on I-10 construction in the fast lane with no shoulder, two lanes, the right lane stopped and a cadilac pulled into my lane that was moving. thank he swerved back or i would have been doing a superman....

perfect example of a potential crash that would have been blamed on the cager when there's no way that car could have seen that bike coming from that speed.

That's why you don't haul on roads that you don't know well. You should know every place that a car could potentially enter the roadway. If you can't see far enough ahead of you, slow down.
