I got a taste of it this morning on my bike. Had to ride to my storage unit to get my truck. Could barely see the rode. +1 Azylum on boo.

I actually like riding in the rain... Don't like making it around the TWO people who were all over the road this morning because their wipers didn't work...

Crazy.

Riding in the rain tips? Slow down, don't use as much lean angle, be VERY warry of
intersections and parking lots for oil/coolant/deisel spills, be VERY warry of
people blasting through red lights or stop signs because they can't stop because
of the slick street or bald tires, be VERY warry of people not seeing you because of their fogged up or drizzly rain windshields and side glass.

Wipe your visor as little as possible because the road grit/water streaks.
Dress appropriately and take spare socks. Water goes in odd places on a scooter.

Clean and lube your chain after it's quit raining.

Besides all that, it's all good.

Be thankful for the rain. The grass will be green, the air will be clear of pollen (for you allergic types) and the roads will be cleaner.

FWIW, I've tried making different variations of this with differing degrees of
success.

They sell a nice one that goes on your finger fairly cheap but I always forget to buy one when buying other online and when I want one, like today I refuse to buy a $5 item and pay $5 shipping...

http://www.helmetsandapparel.com/p-s....php?r=froogle

You'd think bike shops would have a bucket next to the register full of them...
