Ive rode this route only once. With a good leader to. These guys know this road WELL. the forest is comfortably twisty with some elevation changes. Nothing to be scared of unless u ride like an idiot. 3090 however is more technical with closing apexs.

snows ride though, its up to him who goes.

Don't worry guys I know this is only my second forest ride, but I will be following in the back. Still learning this route.

its nothing crazy, just take your time and ride your own pace until you know the road. If you want super fun, go over to Hwy 337, 3 sisters is the best riding in Texas.

+ 1 The route is not the problem. It's the rider that can be

I'll meet anyone with an EZ Tag at PP1. I'm taking The Hardy on the way up so just let me know.

No one will be left behind. I suggest you take it extremely easy on 3090 your first time through.

Most ride leaders will just ride 3090 to yankees and then home again. I don't do this. I ride 3090 twice, then stop at yankees, then go home. It seems like a shame to me to go all the way out there just to ride it once. If the group is larger than 10 or so people... It is too hard to turn around and I wont, but I don't think this will be the case here.

I think it was plummer that I was talking to on Tiatool's ride, and I told him this:

Every single time I have been on 3090 in a group ride and we had a new-to-3090 rider trying to keep in the front, he has crashed. This has only been 5 guys, but it seems to be an exact science thus far. I dunno about you, but I'd rather not play those odds.
