Busa vs zx14 vs BMW 1000rr vs aprillia 1000

Ok I just saw a YouTube test it's funny how they claim the BMW is the king but never once said oh btw the busa and zx14 are limited by law of trade to 185 mph because we all know a stock busa and zx14 will flat out run over 200mph real speed . I don't get it how someone can claim some like that

Why does top speed matter in a 0-60 test?

Oh thats right, cause it has nothing to do with it.

I owed busa and now a zx14 and there is nothing out there that can run like this two monsters on a flat road top speed . I rode r1 gsxr1000 and a zx10 way over the 180 mph and it's no were to compare with the way the busa or zx14 holds up at high speeds over a true ss bike :-)

But stock busas and zx's wont break 200mph, even with the timing eliminator removed/bypassed.

this topic is about top speed i believe. and as far as handling at top speed i agree, theres no way for it to be more stable, but im not sure about which is actually faster stock vs stock, a brand new cbr1000rr can hange with a stock busa if not beat it.....

Really so why was and is the busa so famous ? I believe it's the first bike to run 202.5 mph I may be wrong . And a zx14 will run 200 mph with no problem But I guess I could be wrong

Because at the end of the century it had the title of worlds fastest production bike.

Yeah the ZX14 doesn't have the HP to pick up much over 190 stock even with speed restrictor bypassed. By given the drive ratio and rev limited it would do 221 MPH with stock gearing and tire size if you could produce the HP to rev limit it in 6th gear.

I always wanted to get over 200 on my 08zx14 before I traded it in.
I could hit the 186 limit no problem, and it was very stable at that speed.

when I bought the 09zx10r, I find it is quicker, and much more fun to ride.
but at top speeds that zx14 was nice.

I would like to ride the Bmw, Aprillia, Busa, most any bike

but I'm a Kawasaki fan ($$/##)

as far as "who" beats "who" top speed, I dont see Aprilia or Bmw

That list is for 2009 and earlier. I don't think the BMW was available in the US until 2010

Well there is no way to tell you how much better a ss bike turns vs the behemoth busa and zx14. It really doesnt matter the beamer has more power and it is lighter than your kawi. Its terminal velocity will be better than yours. Period. And you dont wanna with me my R1 makes 10k hp and thats a snapple fact.

No bone stock busa or zx14 will run over 200mph, and the BMW weighs 100 lbs less and has more horsepower, so simple physics dictate the BMW is faster, period. Now the kicker is you can buy a first gen Busa and build a 1397 stroker motor or get a GSXR, or a ZX10 and build a 3 Mil 1070 motor and make 200+ hp to the rear wheel. Yes this is cheaper than buying a new BMW, and will and stomp a hole in the BMW but your not comparing stock motor to stock motor anymore.

The BMW is a amazing machine but it will be interesting to see what the boys from Japan will come up with to be back at the top.

But as right now i believe the BMW has the crown as the fastest production street bike

I dont know which is faster, but the 14 will break 200mph with a Muzzys Bonneville Box or Speed-o-healer added (both are speed de-limiters) and thats not even adjusting the gearing, adjusting the gearing will get you some more mph as long as you have the highway or track to do it in (just very hard to do it in 1 mile without nitrous or turbo..... but still possible!)

your right- NOT BONE STOCK, you have to by-pass the speed limiter first, as with all production bikes since 2001.
