What time is everyone going? I'm supposed to be at work from 6pm to 12 to shut things down, but. Since I make my own schedule I suppose I could move some numbers around. What do I need to go ride? I rode 4wheelers out in a state park a long time ago and we had to buy permits for the year. Is it still the same?

I think we're shooting to be at the trail head pretty early...like 7:30 am. A couple of guys need to leave by noon to make other engagements. I am free to ride until 2 or so.

What's needed?

an offroad vehicle permit-cost is $8....available at cycle shack north or wild west (or many other shops around town, I don't know them all)

$5 guest fee, bring cash, no change made

a bike with a spark arrestor (this should be stamped "US Forest Approved" or some like that)

A helmet at minimum....I suggest boots, and gloves (optional - chest protector, knee, elbow guards, camel bak, etc.)

The Yamaha shop on 1960 has permits, too. At least they did a couple of weeks ago.

I may try and do a forest ride the weekend prior, but I doubt I'll get the availability to do one next weekend.

I'll be there, but I'll have my son with me and he's pretty slow. We may just have to let y'all go ahead and meet up later. I forget, what truck do you have?

good to see you guys...thanks for coming out.

I rolled out for a 3rd time around 12:30 and about 4-5 miles into the NW balloon lap I managed a flat front. This is 2 times in a row that I've taken the bike out and have gotten flats....frustrating.

At least I got some decent seat time in on a beautiful day before it happened.
