Combining OEM and Aftermarking for Painting

have a question, i ordered a fairing for my bike to replace my older one...this one is thicker and tougher then my current fairings as well as darker so i emailed the person and they responded yes it is OEM

so i now know i have aftermarket fairings on my bike

but would it be a problem to just paint everything and mount it up? our would something some how make that not look right?

my fairings now are extremely thin

see if u can paint that to match. What's the quality of those aftermarket fairings? And how long have you had the bike before you realized about the fairings

almost a year...sadly enough, wasnt riding for awhile due to my license so it just sat and got started

they seem decent, when i took it off...really flimsy compared to the OEM

So the whole bike is aftermarket except for the one fairing you bought?
Depending on much its gonna cost you to paint it to match. Sometimes aftermarket fairings having spacing issues, so see how well your oem fits with em. I dont see a problem with those aftermarket fairings, except for when you drop it. OEM will take a drop. Aftermarkets most likely will crack or shatter.
