Smile Thank you HPD! (Houstons Finest)

Long Story short.

I took the wife out on my new Raven that i bought last night.

-The bike has no mirrors (I WILL be putting mirrors on...dont lecture me)
-The bike is Not registered yet (It will be tommorrow)
-the bike had no rear blinkers (because of the track day the seller had done)
-We were going too fast (I know I know...I shouldn't...)

---Got Stopped near the stadium on 610

-The officer asked for my papers..Luckily I brought my insurance (which i bought right before leaving the house) and the title just to play it safe to show i just bought it.

-He gave me an chewing about safety and keeping my wife safe (I DESERVED EVERY BIT OF THE CHEWING!!!)

-He told me that he rides as well and that he understands but i still need to not be a hooligan. He sends me on my way

THE CLIMAX OF THE STORY

as my wife and i get on the bike...it wont start...low battery!!!

so i'm like....AHH not Now!!!..

HPD Officer: "turn into that side street"

- I do so, and he proceeds to help me push start my raven back to life!!!!

-Raven starts up..Wife and i are home safe...

THANK YOU FOR BEING SO GENEROUS, HPD OFFICER (i dont know your name)
If your a member here...PM me...I owe you a Beer and a steak!!!!

P.S.--Just bought blinkers and Mirrors online.

P.P.S ---If you are gonna flame me, my bike, my beautiful wife, HPD, or anything. please kindly take it over to F*ckoff.com and go to church and find some jeebus.

That is awesome. I gave an HPD a jump start one time, same thing only different.

if he was a short hispanic looking cop (forgot his name) he patrol that area pretty regularly and let me off with a warning that read 100+ in a 55. he actually watched a corvette cut me off and "followed" us through most of the "race" that followed. the vette bailed off on a side road (later to be arrested) and i pulled over and took my warning. very nice guy who was also a mc rider.

He was Hispanic, but i wouldn't consider him to be short. I should have tried to get his name..

I could tell he was upset with me, and he could of justifiably thrown the book at me if he really wanted to

Thats awesome. Good to hear that there are still cops out there that are willing to go above and beyond and are willing to do things like this for the average Joe. Props to the cop.
