I think someone just got owned...

Wow, those bike's look pretty sexy! When I was first looking for a bike I looked at these cuz they were cheap and I was low on funds. Someone talked me out of them tho....kinda glad cuz I was able to get my f3 but now looking at these and hearing the good reviews, I might just get my hands on one if the price is right and use it as a track bike.

It was the only dealership I could find in Guayaquil that sold REAL bikes!

BTW, Hyundai is HUGE there.

I picked up a 2007 new with factory warranty earlier this year for $2,700. It is my wife's bike but I ride it from time to time and love it. It is so freaing light you can turn it with your mind. (at least compared to the FZ1).

So are Hyosungs good oro what?

This ismage is after it's first bath back in May. I have done all sorts of mods to get it to fit my wife since then like lowering and adding risers and bars.

I have had zero issues with this bike but I can tell you it gets no where near the miles that CaligoneTX's does.

i've got a gv650, put nearly 20k miles on it in less than 3 years. been a pretty good bike. only problems i've had with it were known problems when i bought it, all fixable under factory warranty.

some known bad parts have been replaced with better factory parts from other bikes, like the crappy voltage regulator replaced with kawasaki mosfet regulator, etc.

surprised plenty of sport bike riders (and one m109r) with the handling and power for being a 650cc cruiser.

...and for what it's worth, there's another company (ATK i think) that has a distribution deal with Hyosung (now owned by S&T) that will get them into Harley dealerships within the next few years. Probably not all Harley dealerships, but it will be quite a few nation-wide. They're trying to hit the entry-rider market that Harley doesn't seem to have much for besides the 883 sporty

I've read this thread...
My question is...
Would you want a woman who did anything to you and for you without ever nagging?
That is your answer as to whether hyosungs are good or not.

LMAO...

I get more complements and question about the bike than any other bikes i've had. I've had about 40 bikes over the years.
as far a problems.... just the battery. and I got 2.5 years out of it.
I really think this bike(650 cruiser) will handle pretty darn good in the twistes.

Sorry for re-surrecting and old thread but plenty of good information already going on this thread.

Now the GF is interested in a 250cc cruiser bike, Being researching the Hyosung GV250 and seems to be a very solid bike for new riders. The specs look much better than the Honda Rebel 250. Any local dealers?

Thanks for showing us how ignorant you are..... FYI Hyosung Is a Korean Industrial Conglomerate and not Chinese! 90% of all mobile devices are made in China, does that mean that you dont have a cellphone? Or how about computer peripherials? Ipod, iphone, ipad anyone? All made by Foxxcom a Chinese company!

Wow another ignorant comment without any real knowledge to back up your claim..... just because you saw lots of Hyosung in China, Vietnam, etc doesnt mean it is made there....... So i saw plenty of Ford compact cars in China everywhere, is Ford made in China? I believe you are an adult, and as such you should speak with substance and not speak out of assumption, if you dont know the facts, simply dont express your thoughts, maybe that way people wont notice how ignorant you really are.
