harley, how much is this bad boy worth?

i got a 99 harley davidson road king. clean title, 152k miles (rebuilt engine at 150k miles)

this is all i know so far-
rinehart exhaust
screamin eagle heads
screamin eagle 1550 flat top pistons
engine bored .30 over
every option chromed with all steel braided lines
converted to carbureted
progressive rear suspension
the paint is flawless and same goes for the chrome
oversized removable shield

have all receipts for upgrades and repairs (almost all actually, dates back to 01/2003 with over $10,000 in receipts)

Religiously changed oil with Ams oil fully synthetic/k&n oil filter

motor rebuilt with all the above mentioned less than 2 months (built by harley dealer)

This harley has been babied by its previous owner

(all original parts in boxes)

I'm not sure what else it has, because I don't know much about harley's. take a look at the pics. my question is now, how much is this bad boy worth?

That thing it beautimus!!! I'm not sure what it's worth, though; well over $10K, I would imagine.

Yeah - especially with a 1550BB upgrade. There was some serious coin (pronounced 'qwan') put into it. Only 5K on the rebuild. To be honest, I'm surprised that motor lasted 147K!

ok, but , normally you never get back what you put into an "older" vehicle.........i mean the frame still has 150+K, thats a tired frame. and what about all the susp. pieces.

the motor is pretty much brand spankin new, built by harley professionals. almost every part on the bike (besides the frame) has been upgraded or replaced. it's truely a FLAWLESS bike. the person i bought it from took it on tours around the states. they've traveled to maine, california, and a few other states.

the only reason i ask how much it's worth, despite the miles, is the engine upgrade and condition it's in. i could pay you $1,000 for every scratch, ding, or dent you can find on the bike, and you would still leave empty handed.

-suspension has been upgraded recently also-

i believe the only thing still oem from the factory is the frame and body pieces of course.

Ya, I still think it would fetch $10K, even with the mileage - especially if well taken care of.

Suggested Retail Value $12990

The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the unit has been fully reconditioned and is in excellent condition. Mileage/condition and additional equipment may have a substantial impact on the value shown above. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the unit's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions.

Ya, what's weird is that it didn't even take mileage into account (there was no where to enter mileage, or even the condition).

right, so if you had an un-modded similar bike w/ 10k and modded bike w/ 150k......you think they are gonna be the same value.......??
