Yea, they'll prolly come up with something but you can call their dpt then and they (dunno about dps) and ask for a supervisor and they (most the time) go strictly by dpt policy.

Riiiight. You need to get out and experience the world a bit more. I just had this discussion with a Sgt. the other day. He would quickly side with me on this one.

The Sgt. would be the next step in the chain. He is the one you would likely be able to get to on the side of the road. After that it doesnt matter much. Your is already towed and your is in the back of a cop car. They may decide it was all a big missunderstanding a few hours later, but thats hours later.

I would think these cops would like the constant revenue stream from sport bike speeding tickets

We're writing their paychecks

Of all the problems Brookshire has I would say speeding on motorcycles would rate pretty low.Its a sh**hole

No reason for DPS to be hanging around downtown Houston.

Normally I don't get involved in FTP banter, but if it isn't a situation that would require a SWAT team or an ambulance then I can't see any reason to call the police. Any time I have they just come over and ask a bunch of questions, leave, and you never hear anything about it ever again. We chased off a burglar once and they just came by and said, "Good job, which way did he go." Another time when I got robbed at gun point and cracked upside the head with a pistol they just came by, jotted down some notes, and said, "Looks like they hit you pretty good." Never again.

Well they cant rewind time and watch it happen? What else do you want them to do? They will police the area in search of whatever brief information and decription you give them. They can call medical services for you, other then that unless he acts again and they catch him in the middle of it...not much they can do...I mean, if it was so easy to find him, you would have.

^^sorry if that sounds rude. realize you are reading text and I dont want you to interpret me as being...rude? lol

You're not being rude, you are proving my point. It's not that there is something they should be doing that they aren't doing, it's that in most instances there is nothing they can do which is why I said unless you need a SWAT team or an ambulance it's pretty much pointless to call them.
