First down.

lowsided today, at about 15-20 mph. I was turning right on fuqua from sabo, the light was green and I was coasting when two pedestrians (who were jaywalking) stepped in front of me and were looking the opposite way. I grabed some brake and the front was almost locked up but it was cool until I hit what I think was coolant and out went the front side. My right knee took most of the impaact followed by a good head smack on the road. I was wearing gear so I'm ok aside from a headache and a sore kneee. Went to Motorcycles Unlimited and got it checked out. Slightly bent right bar, bent lever, right mirror gone, right front blinker broken, right bar end broken off. Got new grips and bar ends , but the bar ends don't fit. I was near 2 wheel toys on the way home and decided just to see if I'd get luck and they had the asv f3 brake lever, and put it on, much appreciated, I like the lever. Tomorrow I'm going to my dads machine shop, he offered to make some with the killer 360 water jet machine

they helped me up and got the bike to the side walk. They asked if I needed anything and I said I was planning on buying smokes, and asked for a cig, so he went and bought me some lol.looking back I should have asked for painkillers. I was happy I didn't hit them and happy they helped me up so it's all good

that exact reason is why when i was a state inspector i was very picky about any leaks on a vehicle. and no one could stand how picky i was but yet when this happens to you it makes you double think how strick u want state inspectors to be.....

so this morning my ear was bleeding....not a lot but still. I noticed a small crack in my helmet so it's possible i have a concussion but i've had a few before and never had an ear bleed.

have you gone to a doctor? are you planning on doing so?
if you hit your head, i would recommend going to one. i didnt get any help after i went down a couple of years ago, and i wish i had. at the very least they can get you something for the pain. i had about a month long headache and had a good size lump on my leg that was around for like a year.
the bleeding ear is not such a great sign. you should see a doc.

" Bleeding from the ear without any obvious cause may indicate a fractured skull. Blood trickling from the nose together with other head injuries may indicate a fractured skull and should be treated as such."

GET YOUR TO A DOCTOR ASAP!!!

If your ear is bleeding seriously go see a doctor. Hearing loss/ear damage sucks and you don't realise it until you get it..

I went to the docor saturday but he didn't do any scans. Mentioned a concussion, which I've had before and that's what this feels like. This morning was just a drop of blood and some dried up blood, but none since. I may go back tomorrow and have it checked out just to be safe. I can't imagine a fractured skull, I didn't hit the ground all that hard. You never know though.

@floyd- yeah I did some sundays but there just got to be to many risks out there. I've been playin in the forest lately

on a positive note, I took my bar end and the broken shaft it was supposed to mount to up to dad's shop and got it machined so all that's left now is blinker, mirror, and fairings, which I think I'm gonna get painted
