Talking supermoto in clearlake

hey whats up.....so i bought an 07 drz 400sm about a month ago and have put 2500 miles on it so far. i ride the hov into down town every day for work. have been reading threads on here for awhile and finally decided to make a profile. Just kind of looking for ride info as far as good areas to ride, areas to avoid etc. And where are the twisties in houston? also looking to meet new folks to ride with.

it was just stupid windy on the way home tonight.....no fun at all

its nights like tonight that make me wish my bike had some more weight to it
i pretty much had to lean in to the wind all the way home to keep it in a straight line.

I mean dont get me wrong its still fun.....a lot more fun than sitting in a cage in traffic.

Welcome

What time do you ride into work? I ride my Monster through the HOV every day as well, unless it's raining. It would be cool to meet up each morning and have a riding partner

what up mr drz/cbr/ruckus rider? LOL personally i think that the ruckus would be a ton of fun in the right spots! hey so as a drz owner i have a question for you. ill send you a pm.

for everybody else, I had an interseting near death experience today while sitting at a stop light downtown. Some cage rager buzzed me at like 60 as i was sitting at a light that had just changed to green. I of course sped to just behind him......got in his ear a little and told him to slow the down. He responded by opening the door to get out so i hit the kill switch and threw the kickstand down right in the middle of west gray at a light LOL. his girlfriend quickly convinced him not to get out of the truck and we continued on mean mugging one another until he turned off a few streets later! What a TOOL!

so after thinking about it a little bit.....im really glad something crazy bad didnt happen this morning like the guy in the truck shooting me or running me over or something.
I was i think justified in being upset but as far as riding up on him and yelling at him to slow the f@!# down.....probably not a good idea!
Definetly not the way to encourage rider/cager realations
and certainly not the safest thing to be doing in downtown houston.....i guess the small town in me kinda creeps up at some bad times lol
