If we did go to hooters and whatnot a bunch of the underage riders could get a chance to come out and mingle.

Remember what we did in the beginning? One day underage, next week overage... on and on... was nice to mingle all age groups on occasion.

Too with the $1 tacos......... It's the frozen screwdrivers with grenadine, and cool waitresses that makes me lean toward Rookie's. For the added plus you also get secured bike parking with someone always watching your bike.

Yeah but then again not everyone is over 21 or likes the "Bar" Atmosphere w/ the smoke and alcohol scene. Especially if people decide to bring kids. Thats why 3B's had such a success, Families came out to look at the bikes and talk to the riders and mingle. At Rookies, ya'll just sit inside by yourselfs in a Corner. Defeats the purpose of a "BIKE NIGHT"

we have lots of fun in rookies.. play ginga , diamanos, dance talk $h1t ... but yes we are missing the family part of the whole "bike night" so next week all in favor of hooters on I-45 and 1960 say "I" all in favor of 3B's say "nay"

then onces under agers and familys start to leave we may go over to rookies....

Im not asking for a Vote, I'm just inputing my Opinion. I'm trying to include EVERYBODY that Rides and EVERYBODY that wants to go out with Family/Kids and look at Motorcycles and BS about them, hint the word "Bike Night". IMHO, I think Rookies is more of a After Party for the Regulars to go to. Just some thoughts for the actual "Bike Night"..........
1. No Bars (So everybody can join and not feel left-out and for non-riders to come out a look and have fun)
2. A place that has food or a food joint right next door. (For people to eat without leaving to do so)
3. Actually Hangout by the bikes and mingle with all sorts of people (Riders and Non Riders) rather then the 5 or 6 regulars (Attracts more people to Ride and become friends rather then sitting there and not talking because no one introduces thereselfs and ignores other newer riders like little stuck up B*tches)

Just some thoughts after the last SWC meet I went to 2 weeks ago.
Several Bikes, Nobody outside to talk with about them or talk to the few families and other riders that walked pass admiring the bikes and were looking around for the owner of the bike to compliment or just ask questions bout it.

15 people at the table, couple regulars talking to other regulars. Nobody even introduced themselves or mingled with the 5-6 other new riders that showed up and just looked like Douches sitting there because they weren't felt welcomed. Very unsociable from a New Rider or a New guy to SWC standpoint

Again, just some of my opinions.......

i kinda like the rotating place idea. Although im working tuesday nites now so i almost dont get a vote. 3B's was kinda getting burned out with the whole nail polish huffing going on and getting tired of the food a little. There are a ton of places we can goto and as long as we post up a few days before, with rookies being the after party. Im for meeting at a sushi place once (lemme know ahead of time), Steel city was kool, theres gozettis pizza, maybe johnny rockets one nite, etc etc

What about Willie's Grill? The food is decent, good prices, they have an outside patio. Located at the corner of 242 and 45 next to the Popeye's. I'm not a big fan of the bar seen and the trend seems to be as mentioned above. Get to the meet, park your bike, go inside and try to find somewhere to sit and someone to make conversation with. If its your first time and no one knows you, alot of time people will just say Hi and go back to talking to their group. When you are outside and can stand around the bikes and ask questions etc its easier, for me atleast, to get to know people.

Edit: The last time I was there they also had some good looking waitresses.

I love the ride, that's really why I come. I havnt been to Rookies without a bar fight and i don't even drink but maybe one or two beers a week. I do love hooters (assume wings). Just saying anywhere but rookies, st. James is 18 and up btw lol
