Only lame to Lesnar fans.

He didnt look good cause he was outclassed, and outskilled.

He did look a little off balance but I think that had something to do with the hits he was taking or big knee to the face and the one two combo right after that. Accuracy and power combined can make someone look not all there.

He came out like a bull and Velasquez took him apart like a skilled matador.

tHe had Too much speed and he shut down Lesnar's wrestling. Every time Lesnar gets hit, he doesnt know what to do. He turtles up, retreats. He bullrushes and smothers opponents with his overwhelming size, except Velazquez was having none of that. He knew exactly how to handle guys like him, he used to wrestle guys as big as Lesnar.

The guy just got straight up beat by a far superior fighter.

I actually have faith that lesnar will be a skilled fighter, considering that most of the fighters in there have years upon years of fighting under their belt and he only has a few. I really think what went wrong is that lesnar didnt fight with his head, he figured he was going to go in there and bully him and got beat down in the process. If he would have slowed the pace down a bit and used his wrestling to is advantage.. it probably would have been a much longer fight.

Cain will defend his title against Junior Dos Santos

Lesnar is expected to fight Mir for a third time to be placed back into title contention.

They didnt look like strong hits but remember Cain has the strongest recorded MMA punches in their history.

I have a new found respect for Lesnar w his after fight comments. Sounds like he was humbled but is ready to train and come back. Congrats to Cain!

Lesnar is much improved from when he started. IMO here is his fault. He does not fight with muscle memory yet. He still has to think about what he is going to do. Thats why when the pace is slow he can think and he does well. When its a fast pace he doesn't have time to think. Thats why he looks a bit lost when the pressure is on.

Everyone always says that if he would just improve this and improve that he would be unstoppable.

well, if thats the case, then you can say that about EVERY 250+pounder out there. Brock is HUGE, thats what he has going for him, he just cant fight very well. If he was 200 pounds, he would be Kimbo Slice.

Take Bob Sap for example, he is a beast of a person. Cant fight for . Has no chin like Lesnar. There are too many heavy weights out there that dont blink when they get hit, Lesnar panics, turns his head and retreats without thought.

UFC couldnt keep up this sherade for ever. They were buying their time trying to give Lesnar time to train more jujitsu and punching but you cant cram 20 years or experience in 5.

If his punching, defense, grappling was more developed, he would be unbeatable.

But then again, that goes for every fighter in MMA.

Fact is that if he didnt look like he did and wasnt some WWE guy, he would be in Bellator trying to work himself into the UFC. They would be like, hey dude, work on your muscle memory, and learn to fight first, you look a little lost out there when anyone puts the pressure on.

Oh I agree.... his name got him where he is but you can't fault him for that. It's a business.
I forgot to add(before to your quote) that his advantage is his size. I'm sure he hits hard as well. but since he is still learning.... he needs to realize to use whats best for him till his other areas get up to par.
