I usually tip pretty decently if the service was good. I do reward for good service and I am also remembered when I return.

Wow, most of ya'll actually tip pretty well. The best tippers are usually younger middle aged. College students around here are good tippers most of the time. HS students, old people, and parents w/ little kids are always the worst.

As for me, I usually tip 20-30% if the service is good, if not they will get 15% or less, depending on how they are. Most people who tip 10% usually don't realize that servers have to tip out 3.5%(or 4) to the bussers, hostesses, etc. and that they are only walking with a 6.5% tip. And I cannot stand servers, its an easy, but physically demanding job; even if you arent the most social person, just don't f up and you have nothing to worry about.

i hate people like that. Its either coupons or those "Be saved by " cards. The other day a guy left a $5 Abuelos gift card as a tip. Don't know why he didnt just pay for part of the meal with it and tip me cash. Dumb .

I was one of the first customers at "Cascadas" on Westheimer when they opened for business. The food and service was so good, I had my whole family going. Lately, the service has sucked! 'Same goes for Le Peep...just up the road. I usually tip above 20%. 'Lately though, my tip is determined by the service I get. If the service sucks; the tip sucks.
How about those on the board list restaurants that are worth going to or just plain suck as far as service and food goes?
For Me...to name a few:

Cascadas - SUCKS
Le Peep - SUCKS
My Amigos - SUCKS
Cantina Laredo - Absolutely Awesome!
Sylvias - Good Food, Good Service
Lasagna House III - Great Pizza take-out!
Taco Pelenque (Rosenberg,TX) - Perfecto!
