Kudos to you sir... Kudos.

Glad your still w/ us. It pays to be observant.
Driver of the car though must've had some serious whiplash though!

Thats funny about the lotto ticket, my mom asked me to get her a scratch off earlier in the day and she won 300 bucks.

That is not a screen, its the guy's amp. There was pieces of stereo all over the ground. Even knocked the speakers out of the box onto the street.

There was no damage to the bike at all, the little car just hit my tire, the bumper was pretty low.

I am ALWAYS watching behind at lights til at least a few cars have stopped hehind me. And even then I keep glancing back. If I am behind a car, I get kinda far over and also point my bike at an angle to give myself an out and I ALWAYS have the bike in gear.

Like I said, I glanced back and I saw headlights coming up and I just got a quick glimpse of a tail light cause he has sliding at an angle. Thats when I dumped the clutch and gave it a handful of throttle.

I was sure I was going down when the guy nailed me, though. We were looking at the bumper and there was my tire mark right on it.

I used to practice quick take offs at parking lots a lot to prepare for just that situation. Sometime I would be out there for a good hour. It payed up big time last night cause when that happened, I didnt even think, before I knew it I was already getting the out of the way.

He wasnt as bad as I would think but his arm and leg looked pretty bad.

I am ALWAYS watching my rear on the bike.

Hey, just out of curiosity, what was that dirt bag saying to you when you rolled up next to him at the light?

I would stop the bike, sit on it with one hand on the clutch and other off the throttle and my left foot on the ground. Then try to get my foot on and hand on the throttle and going as fast as possible.

Also would do it with both hands on the grips.
