WOW, ultra grooved pavement sucks

I'm in CC right now, and they're stripping the asphalt off about 1/2 mile of road, and it freaked me the **** out. The ENTIRE road is grooved with about 3/8"/wide/deep grooves. I was going 30 mph and then all the sudden my bike starts swerving left and right about 1 foot in each direction. It was almost impossible to control, and I had drive extremely slow just to get through it. Even at 10mph it still gripped my tires and moved me side to side.

A little warning sign would be nice.

Broadway in Galveston is that way right now. Starts about 20th street. I think they are trying to get new pavement down before the rally.
I think the rest of the town could use new pavement as well, but what do I know?

for REAL!

that was one crazy way to remodel a road, especially friggin westheimer!! just drag this bigass rake over it until its ground all to , then let it sit for a few months and slowly get around to repaving it.

Was about to say the same thing. It gives me more control and less swerving. Go over it every day on grand mission. Still sucks but it's better going about 50
