I always ride solo. It's one of the reasons I love my bike - alone time. But even in a group I'm basically alone; nobody can talk to me and I don't have to talk to them.

take her shoe shopping or to a store with lots of shinny objects. the bike idea will slowly dissapear...
that's what i do with mine everytime she comes up with some crazy ...
