Is it just me?

It might just be me, but I think highway pegs make it look like the rider is on a gyno table about to get his vag checked out.

Not trying to insult cruiser riders here, just my funny observation.

Imagine your backside has been sitting on the bike for 150-200 miles... are you going to worry about how you 'look' or how you feel?

I know they are comfortable and great when you are on a long ride. I don't have any problems with them, again just a funny observation.

I've done 500 in a day on a 954. The only thing that hurt was my .

Almost 40 with spinal fusion and 3 herniated discs.

Get me on a cruiser, and my back will hurt like a in less than 10 miles. Totally unnatural position.

I saw a guy riding with highway pegs and ape hangers on the way back from Motorcycles Unlimited once. To complete the picture he was wearing a jersey and baggy fabric-looking pants. He was approaching an event horizon of ridiculous, although I guess he thought he was approaching it in style.
