Minis

Ok so I know everyone is die hard Honda 50 for mini bikes around here. But Frankly I just can't stand the dirt bike look. I know its silly, but it is what it is. So my question, has anyone had any good experiences with other minis?

Like the cag (Cagllari Daytona) or the X8 or X18, ect..?

They are clones of Honda designs but with inferior materials and build quality. Now the CAGS are alright, but kinda pricey and hard to source parts for. I would love a set of street type farings for it, but that might look weird too. I like the crf50 because of how you ride it, dirt position on a tiny bik is way easier to stunt then being hunched and bunched over the tank on such a small wheelbase. You basically just lean back in the seat on the hondas

PLUS, you can get a older model honda 50 (z50) and turn the looks of it from a dirt bike to a street bike if you really wanted to. Then you also have a nice fat comfy seat and riding position.. Win-win right there.

I'll find a picure and post what i'm talking about.

Well it is kind of silly. It is just a toy. Kind of like complaining that big wheels don't come with the same size rims in the front and back. LOL. I've seen quite a few kits that you can buy for them. I bet if you scour the net there is some crafty who has come up with a fairing kit.

Forgot to also mention that you would be better to get a Yamaha YSR 50. They are more expensive that the XRs but by the time you get done converting one it will be the same.

I'm not sure at all what purpose this sentence has in this thread.

I was just agreeing with what you said and making a joke. Don't worry I do silly too. I recently bought two XBOX controllers because one white one was broke and they only had black and I wanted a matching pair. Feel better?

Just confused. Anyway the YSR50 might be a good suggestion.

Look, if you MUST have a china bike, out of the three you stated in your original post... get the x18. Just for the simple fact that it is a four stroke and that means potentially, it can wheelie.

But in no way do i condone or recommend buying a china bike... its gonna give you more hassle than it will enjoyment.

If you wanna RIDE a pitbike, instead of wrench on one, and grin your off in the process... buy a honda 50.

Calm down Pimp!

We're talking about Yamahas and Hondas right now, not Chinabikes.

I was just asking preliminarily if anyone had good experience with them.
