Speeding Ticket In Galveston County!

Anyone know a lawyer that can dismiss a speeding ticket in Galveston county? I got pulled over yesterday the cop say I was doing 89 in a 65 zone, I told him that I was speeding up to pass a car that I was feeling danger zone. Well if anyone know something any information will help. Thanks safe ride!

Ask for discretionary defensive driving, it's a little more $$$ but you don't have to get a copy of your driving record, and it would not go on record as you having taken the course to dismiss a ticket. Or you could defer.

it doesn't matter how many times you get caught... you just can't get CONVICTED of another traffic offense for three months. And if you're getting pulled over that often, maybe you shouldn't re-evaluate the way you ride.

You have to be present in court if you want to fight this.

Texas City just wants your money. Goto court before your court date and ask for the Annex Court, where a judge will hear your case and you can ask for Deferred Judication. No need for a lawyer IMO...but unless you plan on just paying for the ticket, you will have to goto Texas City courthouse for DJ or if you wanna try it, DD. While you are there, might I suggest Grand Prize BBQs Chopped Beef Baked Potato

And the TX City is open but you have to pay to enter unless you are a TX City Resident.

everything has to be done in person in Texas City. You have to go to court or before the court date to sign paperwork
