easy inspections

just bring the bike to me i wont brake test it as long as ur not a cop
and have insurance ill put a sticker on it. i hate riding other peoples bikes
i am at 1960 and sldine westfield behind the mcdonalds FM1960 tire and sercive
mon-fri 8am-5pm ask for andy or text me 832-458-6361
$14.50 for the sticker
and i can only do harris county inspections

Been having them inspected for a while now. NEVER had anyone ride the bike.

Got to watch that smooth concrete. Stoppies will bust your in the building. I do mine outside while testing the rear break, horn, and high beam.

took me 5 minutes at the local Mr. Sticker... dunno wtf the 'riding other peoples bikes' comes from.

What I know is that brake check is at the sole discretion of the inspector. If he ants to do it or not it's his choice.

I could be wrong, I'll ask one of our inspectors and post again.

Most places just have you do the braking test yourself. However, there are some that want the technician to do it. Under state law, it is allowed.

Personally, I don't let them ride my bike. I'll just go somewhere else, but that's just me.

That's exactly what I would do too... I have yet to come across a place that insisted, heck even mentioned them needing to get on the bike.

I ride my customers bikes for the brake test most of the time, but of course I ask if they're comfortable with that first. I usually have my bike at the shop so most people don't care, it tends to make it easier on me and the owner if i just ride it for the test, and most people have claimed it to be very convenient. Regardless of who does the brake test it is against the law to skip it.
