Another Rider Down

Riding around my neighborhood a little ago with a buddy and looked back to see him down under his bike, wont say the name but if he wants to he'll chime him and tell what exactly happened.

new rider, just finished msf...good thing he went down at 15-20mph in the neighborhood down the street rather then on a main street at 30+ with cars

i sent him home to think about what he did wrong , but hes fine...little road rash here and there but thats at.

Tell him, "when in doubt, give it gas." Grabbing a handful of throttle will always solve the problem.

I am sure he will be more than happy to let you jump on the back of the bike with him while you fix yours.

Glad you're okay. Low speed crashes are pretty common when you're a new rider. I think it's because you think going slow is safer, somehow. I dropped my bike twice coming out of the same parking lot until I learned to keep my feet up and give it gas!

There's something to be said for that throttle - it's not all false.
