Cafe Racer series on Discovery HD Theater

Not sure if this is the right place to post this and hope is not a repost.

Quote:
The much anticipated Cafe Racer series on Discovery HD Theater is debuting tommorow (Oct' 13). The series would be featuring 13 episodes focussing on the cult of Cafe Racers, the legend behind it, the 60s and 70s in UK highlighting the Ton Up Club and Rockers among others. Just as Choppers had their time a few years back, the 60s and 70s were the Cafe Racer time and just as with other cults, the Cafe Racer also had its share of negative publicity. But then there were far more too many good things about it and no wonder the ult is coming back in a big way, you see almost every major brand is coming out with retro classics, more of in air cooled twin naked motorcycle mould. To live the moments of those time, Discovery HD will be your friend and companion for the next 13 weeks.
Here's the schedule:

Cafe Racer TV Promo:

Too bad I don't have cable or satellite..

Hope the torrent is available soon in the P2P networks!!

FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

This sucks. Cafe racers are cool. Now they are going to become the next trend just like jessie james did with choppers. not that choppers were ever really all that cool in my opinion.
Put it on the idiot box and people will jump all over it.

Honestly I'd rather see a bunch of cafe bikes running around than gay chromed out choppers with flames and ape hangers...although this will never happen.

that show makes me miss my Bonny. I redid it and was going to cafe it out, but ending up selling it because I needed money for school at the time. She was a beaut. One of these days I'll get around to doing it.

Who cares anyways? I'd rahter have a "new" cafe facer then an old tech one that requires mucho maintenance.
For some of us it's not just about turning the key and riding. It's also about the doing, the learning and the hours spent making it right.

Probably the sickest cafe racer build I've seen locally was from the guy at Relic Cycles in Alvin. He rebuilt a Norton Commando. Everything new. Kind of weird though, most of them have original colors and this one was a deep purple with a bit of chrome everywhere. Very unique. He also put Brembos and some other new tech on it. It was so badass, looked like a modern remake kind of like the new Bonnies. He usually has some nice running classics for sale too, and at reasonable prices unlike Gulf Coast BMW.
