learning the hard way

i been having carb issues like usual the first thing i look at is the o-rings on the seats changed them. put them together didnt look at the loose secondary jets or the hole in the rubber on the float needles. two were torn and the jet was laying in the bowl. i called around for the new needles. $70 for each one. so i get the bright idea to try kawi needles. the end result was fire. too much fuel dumping from the overflows. i called my usual place for parts i found aftermarket needles for $8 each. choice motorsports 281-821-2450 they have helped me before and are very knowlegdable. not to sound like a ad for them but if you need help try them. there cheap adn have slot of experience. i called 6 motorsports places and they were the only ones that could find them for a reasonably price. now ill just be down another day. and hopefully be going throught this again. cause i am a dumbass.
