Congrats on ur zx I got one in 2009 they do eat up tires. I'm on my 4 th back tire with 8500 miles. I run metzler m3 200 50 zr 17 love it. It has gave me lil bit more miles then the first two. Which was factory and mitchlin hpx I believe. No serious problem in 8500 miles. Only thing I have a problem is the temp. Somedays runs warmer than others. Heavy traffic it rises but open roads it all right. Next on order is a fan switch to keep the fan on hi all tines. Best mod power commander pc5 tuned by Rudy at 2 wheel Toyz.

So I moved from a 2007 GSX-R 600 to a 2007 Kawasaki ZX-14, and I must say the transition has been a lot of fun.

Aside from the EXTREMELY massive amount of torque and power at nearly every single RPM the bike is amazingly stable and far smoother than my twitchy little gixxer. The bike delivers the power at a very smooth and very smoothly in every gear, if feels as if the bikes moves the road beneath it instead of the gixxer which felt like it was bounding down the road like a pebble.

The riding position is also far improved, and was one of my main reasons for seeking the switch. My wrists, arms and back have been praising the change. And my girlfriend is absolutely in love with her riding position. The leg position, however, feels relatively unchanged. Which I actually like, very aggressive and lets me use my legs to control the bike very well.

One of the things I was afraid of on such a large bike was maneuvering in relatively small places. It is much wider than the gixxer so I'd be hesitant to split lanes with it, especially since I cant split my driveway anymore to pull it into the garage (gotta go around both cars now ). The front end will take a little while to get used to as well, just because it feels so big, not for anything negative. In fact, once she's moving the bike is very flickable. I haven't had any problems steering in parking lots, whipping around a corner or making tight u-turns.

Man, if you are going to bring bike photos here, at least take of the training wheels. . hehehe

Not *really* selling it. But I always list my bikes occasionally for some obscene price (usually 1500$ profit over wht I have in it) and sometimes they sell and I get new toys. Lots of dumb people with too much money

Lol we got ppl spread out all over. I think badzx14r is way out in la grange. Location was our pitfall last time I tried to make a meet. I liked his idea of meeting early then going for a ride. So maybe meet 10ish on a Saturday in a central location then ride out west?

USD 73.80 to my door

Absolutely beautiful quality, perfect fit, flawless machining. 200$ quality levers for a fraction of the price. I also just saw they have some slick looking double-adjustable levers (length and angle) they recently added.
