I won't ride forest at night again. Last time I had deer running with me on the shoulder. Luckily he jumped right not left. Right was the field. Left was in front of me. Its just too dark.

After hitting a deer with my car about 8pm an hour and a half outside of Lubbock, I have avoided night driving in the country. I had a second at most to react, and with the smaller headlight on a motorcycle I imagine there would be even less of a window.

Haha I passed a deer in a curve in my hood 1 night. He was running the curve on the inside and I went around on the outside.

But the forest is nice at night. I did hit a bird on 3090 at night once though

I would assume a good time would be like 8-10/11. Late enough that at least some of the dear should settle down but early enough that the drunks should still be at the bar, I also don't particularly want to still be on 45 driving to pasadena during bar hour.
