All my friends who wanna go, I tell them not to. Its cool, trust me seeing all the nice bikes. Its not worth the CHANCE of someone following you home. You can be macho all you want and say you will (shoot, fight, whip) their but come on man. They are getting good at this stealing .

I have told a handful of people not to go. I would hate to see someone lose their bike and I had the chance to prevent it.
Oh wow.. Really. Sounds like just because you go to pp1 or where ever you're gonna get followed and your bike stole... And all black people sag and hispanics are illegals... And people that drive red cars always speed.... Oh oh.. wait... and driving north in an east bound wind saves you 15% on car insurance.... Every last bit of that made perfect sense to someone.... Just not me.

Going to pp1 isn't going to get your bike jacked.. They can follow you from any where they may see you from. Better chance of it being someone in your own neighborhood or that even kind of knows you (enough to know your schedule) than to be followed.. Unless you live 3 blocks from PP1... if you get followed ALL they way home, you'd probably just as easily got jacked in a walmart parking lot..... WOW! Come on people... Use some common sense. That's how you don't get jacked.. and actually that only reduces the chance. Learn real facts about thieves and stats about robberies/thefts instead of some small percent of how it happen making up the whole truth.

My question is that spin out. How do you keep all that rubber spinning with out it catching and launching.. The skinny tire up front or the rubber on his shoes. Seems like a lot to counter. Flat tire..lots of contact.

im on my second bike now, moved from an sv 650, which got the 'when are you getting a real bike' attitude a lot. on the vfr 750 now i have gotten it twice. like wtf man, this is a 750. one guy who said it even had a 600. really, wtf. i dont get it. this bike is fkn awesome. so was the sv. i dont want a harley or bigass thing like a busa or whatever. i would even love to have a small bike. a real bike is just what it takes to move me down the road. which isnt a whole lot of work for even a small engine like a 500.

also depends on who you are talking to. To some cruiser riders a sports bike isnt a real bike at all.

I think a thief can more easily run a plate and get a home address than take the time to follow someone all the way home. They can do this anywhere, not just PP1.

No different than the people that don't park "X" because it is more likely to get stolen. Everyone has their reason for not going somewhere or parking somewhere. If they want to stay safe than it is their opinion. Its about risk. If they feel it is safer NOT going to PP1 then so be it. Who cares what their opinion of why is?

Agree!! You see this way of thinking in the Harley Davidson owners. Back in the day a coworker wanted to get into riding after learning that I was a motorcycle rider. He was assuming that I was a Harley owner (no idea why). when I explained to him about bikes being more reliable than HD bikes, (something that nowadays I start to doubt with the new HD bikes) he got very disappointed and he say something that still remember very fresh in my mind...."if you are not going to ride a Harley-Davidson..what's the idea of riding at all??? I guess for him a real bike was a HD!!
