To the cruiser/harley on 59/HWY6 this AM:

Thanks for saving me from a ticket.

I was traveling southbound on 59 [a little over speed limit], he was on the northbound and signaled 'popo' to me. I slowed down to posted speed. 2 seconds later, there the SLpd was.

I need to pay it forward somehow...

^^^ How would that be funny.. I mean faking it won't pay it forward.. But I guess it'd be ok if were getting the false signal? I'm just curious. Maybe I'm slow today and just don't get it... :P

I'd rather get 100 false signals and one good signal versus no signal at all. Being reminded to slow down on the street isn't a bad thing at all. But thats my opinion.

i'm a previous crotchrocketeer... and am now the "harley" guy...
i'm always looking out for my fellow riders, i've given a good tap on the lid to at least two bikers on 249.

i have never given a false signal.

i do have to say though, that since my soul still thinks we're riding on a sportsbike i tend to wave to sportbikers as well and i've gotten a lot of "im gonna keep my hands on the bars and pretend i didnt see you" guys...

i've got beef from both sides, I would get no-waves on my Boulevard from the sportbikes but i get alot of no-waves from fat cruisers while im on my Zed. I always wave at bikes regardless of type, just not scooters.
