Dunlop Q2's..Tried em yet?

Getting ready to buy some new tires for what I consider "riding Season" in Houston.....

I just ride street, I'm a baby now with my bike at my old age of 28. (Bought the new bike when I was 21)

Im sure I could get away with some Harder compounds but I have no concern with mileage. I just want awsome grip "Just in case"

Cycle gear is running one of their silly tire deals at the end of this month again, and I'm thinking about their pre-order option.

I see nothing but good reviews but how about some from the real world?

I just put a set on the Busa. So I love them. I have not had a chance to really push them though. I have about 200 mile on them and they inspire confidence for sure.

Had them on my R6. They are good tires for sure. My R6 was a track bike, also.

I will say the compound on the front is harder than I was expecting. I dont care how long the tires last. I want confidence that the tire will grip.

I roll on the DQ2,
they feel great,
though I only get about 2.5k miles on them,

Those tires are cool! They came on my 09 R1, but i ended up like the Bridgestone Battle Axe BT016's better.

That's what came stock on my Monster. I love them, although I haven't really been able to heat them up just yet and I have a feeling once I set up my suspension they are really going to kick .

I was torn between the 2. I bought them from a member for the of it. It's not like you will ride with your choice for long. I will try the 016's next.

Bike(s):
- The bike I own
- All the bikes I used to own which I still list so everyone on the forums will know how cool I am

I had these on my motard, got about 5.5k miles from the rear, and the front is still kickin'.. I did end up going back to pilot power on the rear though, which I have yet to find a tire I like better. My only real gripe with them is that they run wide, much like the original qualifiers, the 160's are as wide as the 170's...

Once these wear, I'll probably get the PP rear and see how I like it. I know I liked it on my previous bikes, this way I'll have a good idea of the both.

they're trash. my brother in cali and all the racers out there are forced to use them on track days and for spec racing. a few track days will let you use another brand, but ask anyone in the paddock and you'll get disgusted looks and angry rants. they even sell them at a fraction of what you pay here, and none of the racers/track afficianados like them. it's a very sore subject. but if you're not running an advanced level track pace you may not know the difference.

if you want milage and good grip, id recommend the Pilot Road 2ct or the Dunlop GPA's. ive done track days on both sets and they held up great, and i got tons of milage out of them.
