Reminds me of my first car 72 VW beetle was having in the back seat and the springs would touch the battery....well you get the idea.

I'm not digging the metal cover that goes under the seat, it is used to cover my ignition module and , but I'm thinking it needs to be gone. The first seat I installed like this I made my own brackets and stuff, but it was so uncomfy, I sold everything on ebay for 40. I didnt make a cover and it was ok. also, the first one sat the seat a smidgen lower than this "install kit" does.

me off, I spent 130. on just the install kit because I didnt feel like machining my own brackets this time, but , this so called bolt on bracket didnt fit the seat, so after spending 130. I still had to machine four bolt slots in the thing. irritates me to spend money on that is supposed to fit but doesnt. Glad I had the ability to do my own machining. turds, I did call em, they want me to shoot digitals and send them, but I said nope, do your own research and development. turds

the more and more I look at that plate thingy under the seat, the more it eats on me, I gotta yank it off and chunk it.

That seat looks good--I like the old school look....but i can't believe you're getting rid of that cool two-toned seat. I really liked that!!

I put on a really low seat to help lower the bike. The bad thing about my low seat is that when I'm stopped and me feet are on the ground, I can feel the heat from the oil tank. No es bueno....

I like those kinds of seats. I would consider getting one if my g/f didn't like riding with me so much.

That metal piece doesnt look like it goes there. I would chunk it. But the look of the seat goes well with the bike, if your into that type of look.
