Would be better if after each person votes, give a short description of HOW and WHY they went down.

might want to also add "All of the above" because I had all of those!

Nevermind, I didn't see you could select them all! Fail for me

like I said in another thread. it took 14 years before my first incident. believe me, I totally believed nothing would ever happen to me. that was before the asleep at the wheel girl in the buick made me a hood ornament.

Just to be clear, it's not that I feel nothing will ever happen to me, not at all

50 mph trying to take a corner too fast in a bike that wasn't designed for it. I low sided, but came off the bike running.

Lady tailgating me back when I lived in Dallas. I was trying to turn in to my neighborhood and she didn't give me room to slow down so I undershot the turn, hopped a curb, racked the out of myself on the tank, and skidded/slid in this guys grass right up to his front porch.

And I've dropped my old Hondamatic 400 when I was learning to ride.
All of these when I was much younger.

I was on the left lane about to get off and traffic slowed down. A guy in a rice burner car with the huge spoiler did a very fast lane change right into me.

One of those lane changes these fast and the furious do like if they are racing an f1. Slammed the brakes but still nailed me. Bike landed on my leg.

Fractured leg and a bone in the foot that took a year to heal. took off and no one got out of their car to help me pick up the bike. I had to crawl off to the bike, dragging my fractured leg behind me. Had not feeling or strength in the leg for a good 10 minutes.

Had to pick up the bike in the left lane, one good leg, and NO ONE helped.

Had my bikes forks strapped down at the track. This made the kick stand too long since the bike is already lowered. I didn't pay enough attention to the angle. I got off the bike to check the air pressure on the rear and there it went.

dropped my bike at 2 mph leaving a stop sign. Wife on back, I leaned left she leaned right. I was not very experienced. Got the bike turned just as I got to the curb and the curb kicked my wheels out. Nice scratches on the paint but no scratches on us. Lesson learned.

Dude, I ALWAYS stop and help people. I even carry a big car jack with me in case I have to help someone change a tire.

I donate money in Kiva.com, I used to volunteer at an elderly home, used to give art classes to kids every Sunday. I am always sending stuff through soldierswishlist.com and on and on and on....

Thats why I was laying on the freeway thinking someone up there must really NOT like me cause I figured I must have had at least a few karma points racked up.

I dropped my bike trying to unload it after a track day, by myself. I never have help for these things so it's hard, I got to the bottom of the ramp with a little too much momentum and dropped it on it's side.

I was riding in a group of 20+ riders after not riding for over 2 years. Stopped at a red light waiting to make a left turn under the freeway. Mid turn I romped it and low-sided at 8-10 mph. No damage to myself, head never hit the pavement, but I did crack the headlight assembly on my R6

Not very nice of people. Oh well, it just gives you a better idea of how people really are.
