overall it sucked!

what my wife wrote:

"It sucked. There were HUUUUUGE lines, too many people, nothing was organized, parking was HORRIBLE, i could go on and on... not enough little kid stuff...

Good thing we got the tickets for free, otherwise I would have asked for my money back after about 30 min...

Next year we're going to the bigger (older) one in New Braunsfields (sp?)."

what i wrote:

we had heard it was gonna be crowded, but DAMM. we walked in and were waiting for our friends to find parking. within that 10 min, we saw 3 lost kids. there was only 1 gate and they used the same open area for exiting as well as entering..... talk about a cluster-F

every ride took 30min at min. to get to. tubes were in short supply., let alone a place to park your "Stuff"

parking was too little and a long walk away. and yo walked alongside traffic. not very good w/ a bunch of little kids.

I never went to one, but I went on the river a while back, we past by it, and you couldn't see any water... Just people.. So we were like **** it...

So I can just imagine how bad it would be in galveston. I would never try to waste my time to go there, or would I try to take me nieces there.

Sorry how it turned out for you. But weekends are prime time for those places. Better off going during the week. I took the kids to the beach when I was there and from what I saw , it looked mildly crowded. It was on a friday.

stop listing what u sold here - nobody cares...

when we went, it was on a saturday... we showed up thirty minutes before they opened and there was already a line...

it's still not finished - so maybe there will be more toddler stuff in the new section...

most folks that have had fun (that i know) went during the week when the lines/wait weren't as long...

not only that, but it's gettin close to the end of summer vacation, so you know every weekend till school starts, it'll be packed.

on a side note, i took my fam to Seaworld. That was packed too. We did the 2-day pass, and pretty much did everything possible. Well, except for the Busch Hospitality thing, but we still got the 2 free beers, LOL. My lil girl loved the shows. Seeing her smile and quiet in amazement when seeing all them sea mammals put a smile on my wife's and my face. But boy, was it hot!
