New to MH - Houston

New to MH and to motorcycles in general!

I'm about to take the MSF course at Awesome Cycles, which I'm excited about. (posted about it in their forum)

I just recently picked up my first bike ('06 Suzuki S40.) I plan on picking up a sports bike later... probably the new gen Kawasaki Ninja 250R. I'm quite short so the Ninja's lower seat height should be good (although I will probably need to lower it even more.) Ha.

Welcome. The S40 is a terrific bike and can be ridden long distances if you choose to do so. they are rugged and reliable. Just keep the oil changed and burn a lot of gas. The smiles will never go away.

Yeah that's what I hear, as long as I keep it in good shape. I think I need to clean the carb though... I haven't really even taken it around my neighborhood because I'm a bit nervous about it. This is my first bike afterall.

Haha thanks. As if I don't already have another money-sucking addiction already... (all legal of course!)
