they also provide a service to riders in the houston area who can not get financing from other dealerships/lendors. No need to knock them, just take your business elsewhere. remember, sometimes you gotta pay to play!!

when i was shopping around for a bike i wanted a 04-05 r1 and they had a couple on the show room floor. the "sales" guy was a total dumbass! they wanted like 11500 out the door for that bike. i was like how about 9 maybe 9500 out the door? they wouldn't deal at all. i bet you anythiing.. for the cost of their used 2-3 year old bike you can go get a brandnew one. these guys up there are idiots! the only thing that guy was worried about was if i had the money and i had like 5k cash just to show that i was serious. they have bikes there that have been in wrecks and stuff, all they do is clean them up and put new tires on them and try to make a killing which they do to the dumbass who buys from them. maybe someone got a good deal out of them but i doubt it.

Oh yea...they definately know how to capitalize on the situation. I don't really blame um since they obviously are pretty dayum successful...I 'd never buy from there and would advise others to do the same (Unless you happen to be getting a better deal). Otherwise, bring ya lube...

I have found that the best site for used bikes is cycletrader.com. If nothing else is will give you a good idea of what the market is for the bike you are looking for. I have bought two bikes off of there from out of state with no problems. In both cases I found qualified third parties to check out and inspect the bikes prior to me purchasing. In one case I had the bike shipped here, in the other I flew out and rode it back.
