THEY CHEAPED OUT ON THE SWINGARM. why oh why do they continue to detune the naked bikes. leave the engine alone.

Idk, naked bikes kinda blow at anywhere above 100 mph. It is not like you would use the "full potential" of the bike. But they are just changing a few things on the bike to better suit what the bike was intended to do.

But there would be a few things I would change, but most definitely I like the bike..

I would venture to say that 98% of people will never use the full potential of their bike.

And to answer your question, no I am still learning, I would imagine I would be lucky if I have touched 2% of the potential of my bike.

Detuning brings the torque band down into a more useable range in the environment a streetfighter is pitched for. It's a hooligan bike. Wheelies FTW.

Werd. This is especially done on inline 4s because to be a good streetfighter it has to stand up when you whack the throttle at 3k. A regular inline 4 won't. This isn't necessary on the twins though, but if you get a 4 it will be "retuned" for sure.

I already am, I dont like fairings... but I do wish on occasion I had a windscreen that was worth a . but since I ride a naked SV..
