that GSR is sexy. That vid is all kinds of cliche gay though.

Eh, I'd still have to wait till they're a couple of years old before I can afford a used one.

why the do all the manufactures detune their naked bikes? why cant they just stick the supersport motor in them and be done with it? sure, midrange torque is awesome but i prefer the topend of supersports, and some bigbore sportbikes have a pretty good midrange, so why neuter them by taking that top end away from them?

Just my 2 cents

I always thought the point of the streetfighters was to have an inline4 that grunted almost like a twin. Something to have fun in town with where you can't spend your time pegging the limiter.

That swing arm is more than adequate for its intended usage.

It makes the bike cheap. No one is going to pay full SS price for a naked variant so in order to turn a profit selling the bike..........you don't get full SS kit.

You have to go Euro for detuned nakeds. Even those are ever so slightly tuned differently I wouldn't say detuned though. Most Euro models retune them to add a little more torque and lose a couple horsepower. The US naked market sucks. There are a lot of nakeds that we don't ever get here. Even some of the ones we do get are actually a year old. The market never took off and they just aren't that popular here. I don't understand it. Inline 4s which are the most popular here, absolutely suck for street riding. You have to be so high in the revs to get the torque and by then the motor is super twitchy making bumpy roads a pain in the . Plus you look like a dumbass with your engine on boil going 40 mph. It's weird because you can be driving in Seattle and see a bunch of sportbikes but cross the border into Canada and suddenly you start seeing a bunch of nakeds and supermotos.

I have the same problem with this as I do my Street Triple (Naked Daytona) and that is they decided to run stardard brakes (non-radial) and non-adjustable suspension. They've already got the product on the shelvs. Add $500 to the cost of the bike and make it just a smidge better.

Still ugly as all though (Like my Triumph)

So, since this isn't a GSX-R that means its not a "gixxer". So what do we call it? A "gisser"? A "gizzer"? lol
