i rode to austin and back in a day on my r1. that was with the stock seat. my went numb halfway there. just made a lizard skin memory foam seat with like $20. looks ok, not as good as the $300 ones. woth it for the money i invested. cant wait to try it out next time.

Well, not exactly a sport bike but sporty. I have ridden to SC, Il, Fl, Guatamala(sp), NY, actually the trip to Central America was meant to be a trip to south america but I chickened out at the border. About a dozen states on the way to Il, Fl, etc. I have worn out 2 seats and am on my second corbin. All over Mexico. And I have the bad back to prove it. LOL

Not true.......try the RC51. 350 miles and you will park it and ride in a VW bus full of gay hippies home. And be happy!!

500 mile day on a 999 is the most I've done.

Once did pensylvania and back on a cbr 1100 blackbird. 1600 miles plus each way. Spent two overnighters in a hotel. Never do it again.

Are you crazy. You do know that your bike was built on a super sport tour model. The Kawasaki Concours is the most incredible sport tour bike in the world and it cost less than all of the others. It also had much better looking lines than your 14 ever did. Any sport bike rider would love that bike. That is the ultimate in comfort, power and reliability. Not to mention it will destroy and smaller sport bike on the road.

I do but the only thing that keeps me from getting a Concours is that fact mine is paid for and its been tweaked to its max in power and comfort. The only other thing I could do is lower it and I am too fond of its tall stance to do that. BTW, that photo is not even close to what it looks like now. I have to get my HD out and show you what it looks like.

Yea, I need lowering blocks as my knees are my only problem. But that will be true on any bike I'm afraid. Anytime I sit for long periods of time without moving them they get like that. Even bleachers. But it is a happy medium for sure.

One early spring morning me and another member took ALT 90 all the way to san antonio ate lunch then rode back. great ride with great weather. 85mph speed limit on a two lane road with no traffic was nice.

I am a little crazy and have been accused of having a bad attitude at times. I have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about, but thanks so much for your OPINION
