I picked one up. Hope the inner visor will make it so I don't have to wear sunglasses as I start to get a headache after an hour or two with them on under my helmet. I ordered a dark smoke inner visor as well.

Nothing on my emails or sales orders has said the inner screen was on backorder. I guess I'll find out on Thursday when it gets here...

I never use the pumps.. To me it is not a heavy helmet. I love the inner visor. I just wish it were darker and mirrored. I could wish for a little less wind noise, but not very noisy over all. And I stay fairly cool with the vents open, but I don't feel the breeze coming in. (meaning I wish there was more of a 'breeze' inside the helmet when I did have the vents open. just my 2 cents again. If they had the white, I'd probably have a second helmet.

When I receieved my lid Friday it showed back ordered for the dark smoke inner visor. I can testify from yesterday that the light smoke that it comes with isn't going to cut it with the clear outer visor on my east to west ride home in the afternoon.

It is noisey. But if you stand up on the pegs where it's just your head in the wind it isn't any louder then the 700. My scooter dumps all of the air right on your head. The 2 best vents, chin and brow are also the noisiest.
When open you can actually feel the air blowing but they are very loud.
The shield seems to fog easier then the 700 but it's also that time of year.

The fit is perfect for my head.

It is a smoking helmet especially when you consider it snell/dot for
$99. I'd be irratated if I paid $300+

I ride 15K+ a year so YMMV, IMHO....

Dark inner visor with dark outer visor equals no glare/blindness on the
east to west ride home in the late afternoon.

Dark inner with clear outer is fine as long as the sun isn't directly in your eyes/low on the horizon.

All in all I'm happy with my $159 investment.

It's quieter than some helmets and louder than others. Does that help?

I think it depends on your bikes fairing. If I stand up on the pegs where my
it's just my head in the wind it's actually fairly quite.

I noticed the helmet is loudest with the vent open in front of the mouth. If you can close that one it isn't too bad. Do any of you wear earplugs under your helmets? If so what kind?
