^ no idea bout the 1000, but 700 XL cheek pads are way too tight on me [but still usable/bearable]. Since IceMan got the 2xl, Im hoping it fits closer to an HJC XL.

FedEx just droped mine off.

SMOKING deal.

It is actually much darker then the pictures on line.

Kinda charcoal grey and the grafix don't look as gay either.

Thanks again to the OP!

A common problem with these Scorpions is the cheek pads make the helmet tight. This is easily fixed. If you remove the lining of the helmet (it is removable so you can wash it) just carefully unfold the hard plastic on the backside of the cheek padding. Remove the foam. It is glued in layers, so just carefully remove a couple layers of foam, put the foam back in, snap the liner back in and it should fit much better.

You can do that, or order the next size larger cheek pads. For example, if you have a medium helmet, replace the cheek pads with those for a large helmet and you'll have a looser fit

I just bought one of those used. I have to say I really like it. Not too noisy. The inner shield is great. Smooth vents. Became my main helmet. I have to admit though, I saw someone say only good with skinny heads. This is a try before you by helmet unless you're good at sowing. All but the cheeks are perfect on this thing. If I could squeeze just the front edge... not even 1/8th of an inch, it'd be perfect. But yea.. If you can go some where to try it before you buy it, I'd recommend. That said and done, I really like this helmet a lot. Just my 2 cents in case that one person out of 10000 was wanting it.
