It only works for narrow heads.

I've always wanted a Scorpion, they just dont fit my patato head.

Thanks! I was looking at those, mixed reviews but at that price (159 with extra dark inner and outer shields) It'll be worth it if it sucks, Free shipping to boot!

Thnx for the heads up, I've had a 1000, before it got stolen it was the best helmet I ever had, shape and fit wise. I have a small head and the cheek badders are a godsend

2 solid years and my 700 is toasty...

I'm in the market for new and this one is a love or hate appairently.

We'll see....

(I'd have bought the one in the Gear section but the grafix on white were a little much...)

Just curious but i prolly have the same shape noggin. What brand do you feel fits you the best. I've been wearing HJC forever because its one of the only ones that feels comfy with my globed shaped head.

Comparing my EXO 700 XL and the HJC XL, the EXO's are definitely tight. I dont know if ordering a XXL would solve it. I'm really tempted to get this one too. I wonder if I should get XXL...

I have an EXO 1000 and I really like it. The venting is good, easy to change out shields and the inner shield keeps me from having to mess with sunglasses.
The pump up cheek pads are nice but my face is round enough that I don't need them.
I never noticed that it was unusually heavy...

I currently have a kbc and there's always a lot of wind coming in from the chin guard and going to my eyes, thus drying my contacts. Any issues with this with the exo 1000?

WOW! That's the exact same helmet I've been rocking for like 2 years now. I love it! Time to get another one, that's perfect timing, thanks for the heads-up!

The fit on my head is perfect for me, but I can't speak for everyone. For some reason Scorpion's lids are just comfortable to me. I rarely use the pump-up cheeks or the sun visor, and the ventilation isn't great, but yet it's still the best helmet out there that I've found. The weight isn't an issue for me at all (suppose I've got a big head!?).

My only complaints -- the little vent on the front by the mouth is loose sometimes, but I just click it open and it stays. I took all of the lining / padding out a couple of weeks back to clean it, and the little clips that keep it all in place had come out of the inner styrofoam (that's the reason I want to get a new one, the padding's fit isn't perfect anymore). I wear contacts as well, and with the visor down, no air gets in with the chin guard.
But at this price - $110 shipped - it's cheaper than the helmets at walmart, and like I said, this is a GOOD helmet, so I'm all over this deal!!
