MY Purina Diet

Last night I realized I was out of dog food for my 2 Labs and
headed on over to Hellmart with a beer in tote. While I was in
the checkout line with my 40 pound bag of Purina One, a woman
asked me if I had a dog. On an impulse, I told her; “No, that
I was starting The Purina Diet again.” Then I explained to
her; “Although I probably shouldn't because last time I had
ended up in the hospital, but I'd lost 50 pounds!” I continued
on explained to her about all the IV’s and tubes, but that I
had lost 50 pounds! I went on to tell her that it was a
perfect diet and that the way it works is to load your pants
pockets with Purina nuggets and simply snack on one or two
every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally
complete so I was going to try it again. At this point
practically everyone in this checkout line and the ones next to
us was listening intently. Everyone was enthralled to hear
about the 50 pounds I had lost before I was hospitalized.
Finally one person asked me; “Well, If the diet is
nutritionally sound and you had lost 50 pounds before you were
hospitalized, then why were you hospitalized?”
Horrified about my hospital visit, she asked if I had been
poisoned. I told her no that I had been sitting in the street
licking my when a car hit me.
