Sam’s Jam: Celebrates the life and work of co-founding member Dr. Samuel Hassenbusch, M.D., Ph.D. “Dr. Sam”, as he was known, was a world-renowned neurosurgeon and researcher who lost his battle with glioblastoma multiforme in 2008. Sam’s Jam honors his spirit, his vitality and most of all, his commitment to patient care and research. Generally held on the second Saturday in October, the day features a police-escorted ride to a local venue featuring live music, unique vendors, and entertainment. Our initial ride in 2008 attracted over 150 motorcycles, 225 riders, and generated nearly $20,000 in revenue. All Sam’s Jam revenue stays at M. D. Anderson and goes directly to patient research activities.

Well I've actually been checking out rides on bikerornot and bikerspost.com. And harley riders are asking me to come out and ride. , had a club that I know of from other cities that's traditionally non-sport bikes ask me to come out and ride with them and check them out. (He was the vp about to make pres at that)

I may be riding the "I like boobies" ride this weekend. And shortly is a ride for injured soldiers that starts here and ends in San Antonio. For sure going to ride in that. They send the riders out in groups of 100. Would LOVE to see 100 MH bikers in there riding! I think that'd be epic.

Whens the San Antonio one? I might b down to do. I know sun riding to blessing with a friend and his wife for breakfast. Proablly b leaving out @ 6 Ish. Sat got boobies run and drag wars down in lamarque if they have sound off might tale my expedition out there. 15 th got to do some briskets for party 16 Coc. Boy I'm busy working offshore sux but I try to make everything I can. If I do wounded to San it would b a there and back lot of miles but can b done. Nothing bad to ride with Harley's most of my club is Harley riders. I just hate when they ask is it fast. But I guess it comes with territory.
