Glad it worked out okay. Sorry you got hurt - SUX. I added medical to my m/c insurance this year just in case something like this happens. Hope it heals without medical interference.

Thanks everyone.

I honestly dont keep my medical cards so I dont know where to go that Im covered through work. But Im going to find out today and likely go in tomorrow when I can get a ride. Knee is getting worse and massage/heat/cold isnt helping it. I could wait it out or just go in and heal quicker. My stubborness shouldnt get the best of me lol.

Aaron/Larry: Im going to try to go in tomorrow if I can make it somehow; at least I can be there to help w work dispersement and answer questions.

Thanks guys.

Fkn insurance companies are worthless! I called mine today, they inform me I need to call and file w the mbz's owners insurance company. Then he said he was going to send someone out to inspect the bike today when I specifically told him after he even asked, if I was repairing it myself. To top it off, said I was likely at fault(my insurance guy says this, although 'no fault' was found on the police report) and I will be paying for damages.

Whats the purpose of insurance again? They are making me do all the work and Im the one hurting over here. Fk that. If the mbz insurance wants something they can come knocking. And they better be patient Im slow to move right now.

I just got a call from the second adjuster. He wants to come out, take pics of the bike and determine if its total or not.

I told them over and over, Im going to paint over the scratches on the muffler and replace the right side turn signal. WTF is wrong w these people?

My leg is in worse shape then the bike and they keep trying to get me to hop around and gather all this chit for them. Dam I wish I was born dumb.

Probably too late now, but if there was no fault then maybe you shouldnt of called the insurance, seeing as you were fixing it yourself.... Unless the MBZ wanted your ins to pay for their car...

dude that sucks. the only damage is a scratched muffler, paint, and broken turn signal, and the insurance co wants to total it? wtf man.
im sorry to hear about your knee. its really crazy that you are being put at blame and have to pay for the damage to the car that ran into you.
