Don't just walk up and start telling him what he should do with his stuff, it may him off and he'll think you're shady. If you honestly care and you don't want him to get offended then just tell him you saw someone checking out his bike. Then he won't be offended and he will put his bike up. Win win.

who really cares? its not your business to look out for him..hes a grown man that can take care of his own belongings...i know before i even got a bike they are easily stolen and most of the time unrecovered. its a chance u gotta take. i say dont do anything

I save that kind of information for those I love and care about. If his bike gets stolen he'll hold some resentment towards you whether he thinks you had something to do with it or not. Means you're smarter and more aware than he is and ppl don't like that

I say just leave a note or mention something to him if you see him. Who the cares if he gets at you? It's not like you're trying to get in his pants...I hope. Worst case scenario he gets and puffs up like a blow fish, best case is he really appreciates your concern and you possibly gain a friend.
