Where do I mount my GoPro???

So I'm trying to find a spot on the Monster to attach the GoPro so that I can see my tach as well as the road in front of me. Well it's not working too well. The suction cup doesn't stick to the gas can lid, and the handlebar attachment won't work because it limits my turning radius.

For the ride home since I HAD to have video, I used one of the M3 tape attachments and stuck it on the gas can lid which gave me great video but obviously I can't open my gas can

What do???

That's a great idea! I'll keep that one in mind. I also want to be able to see my tach in some vids too so I need to figure something out for that.

With it on the front fender, will I get good sounds from the engine too??

Also, is it a good idea to use the M3 tape attachments and put them in spots that I know I'll want to record at and just leave them there. Or is that a no no?

Duct tape it to your helmet, that is super classy.

Helmet works pretty good. Rig something up on the passenger peg. I knew someone that made a bracket that bolted on the peg slot when the peg was taken off.

I am thinking of doing the same.

Here is a thread of someone doing something similar.

LOL.. i know that my bike has like 95% more fairings then yours does but im sure you get the point... lol

dont use the suction cup, i use that for a car or a really flat spot!
the 3m tapes works great and you can put them anywhere you want...
i think that if you put one on the tank with the adapter that should do it..

edit: those 3m tapes sticks like a ! and if you take them off it will not leave any spots from where it was installed.

you could consider getting a tank bag and rigging a little bracket to it somehow, that way you could see tach and still get gas

the tank brackets let you still be able to open it and put in gas.
