NEED R1 MECHANICAL HELP!!!!!

i have a 2001 r1, i rode it last night and it ran great i started it this morning to go to work and it ran fine until 5 miles down the road. it just shut off the lights were still on blinkers worked i had my voltage meter with me and the battery volts were 12.77. i just replaced the regulator/rectifier just yesterday. i have no idea whats going on when i push the start button it makes no noise, i replaced all the fuses and still the same thing, my fuel pump isnt even coming on. someone please help!! thanks lance.

already tried the kickstand switch i even disconnected it, i even tried the neutral switch. where is the tip over switch?

just got done with the kill switch i took everything apart cleaned it made sure it was hooked up right. i am at a complete loss right now i have been working on it all day!!! i called in from work so i could get it running i even downloaded a repair manual earlier and i am still lost.

That could be a lot of different things.

Bad ground
blown up motor
ecu went bad
bar switches came unplugged
ignition switch bad
shorted wire somewhere

sounds like the main ignition fuse is poped.... r u sure u checked it? now of course something caused it to pop but still.

i changed all fuses last night, checked wires, i am hoping the motor isnt blown. i am stuck it may be my neutral switch but i dont know, thanks for the suggestions keep them coming so i can try them, and if you want to call or text me some suggestions my number is 832-403-8286

Spoke to Camaro earlier...

If you're concerned about the engine remember the fuel injection and spark is not going to happen until there's an rpm signal from the crank.

The lockouts are for the starter and usually part of the ground side of the control relay. Check power for command side and through the relay.

If you want to check your engine, push start and avoid all the cutouts.

BTW disconnecting the kickstand switch usually will make the circuit open and not allow the starter engagement. You need to jump the circuit.

An ETM online or in an owners manual would be the easiest way to diagnose this problem over the internet. Its an invaluable piece of literature for any bike. You guys can text me tonight if you need more ideas, but I'd recommend posting up a wiring schematic.

Follow the items that are causing the problems... no pump priming, no starter engagement? Common grounds or power?

it was the relay assembly( the computer looking object next to the actualy ecm) it was bad, along with a ton of wiring issues that we fixed! its as new now
